Crafted from a single piece of Cherry this bowl has been prefinished with a combination of black and red lacquer to create a distressed finish. It has then been coated with an amber shellac to give a durable finish. The bowl is 8" in diameter and 3" high. This bowl is not intended for use with food.

Although this bowl has been finished with the same products as our other bowls it is NOT "Food Safe". This is due to the distressed finish and how it will wear due to repeated cleanings.

Please treat just as any other wooded furniture or boxes, the use of furniture polish is recommended periodically to retain the shine. Please remember that sunlight will affect the color of the wood and it is recommended that the bowl be rotated on a consistent basis to allow the color to age in a uniform basis.
